John Powell is Senior Vice President of Marketing, Supply and Logistics at Crestwood Equity Partners LP. In his role, John oversees commercial aspects of Crestwood’s entire NGL business with oversight over business development, information technology, risk control and accounting.

John has been with Crestwood and its predecessor, Inergy LP, since 2002. His previous roles include Vice President of Supply and Logistics and Vice President of Trading. Prior to joining Crestwood, he was a NGL Trader for both PG&E Energy and Louis Dreyfus Energy Services and Trading Analyst Supervisor at Koch Industries.

John is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelor’s in Accounting from University of Florida’s Fisher School of Accounting. He has a Master of International Business from the Thunderbird School of Global Management.
