Crestwood fosters a culture that values diversity, inclusion and respect and inspires a diverse perspective of ideas, skills, knowledge and cultures across our organization.
We are committed to acknowledging and appreciating individuals’ differences and creating a fair workplace for all. By embracing the uniqueness of our employees, we hope to create an environment in which our employees feel valued and are engaged, encouraging innovative thinking and ownership of the company’s success.
In 2019, Crestwood launched the Crestwood Women's Network (CWN). This network provides a platform that encourages women to take an active role in personal and professional development, building strong relationships through networking and making a difference through women-oriented outreach activities. Participation in the CWN also offers employees leadership opportunities through their involvement in the planning and execution of CWN activities.
As a part of our ongoing commitment to ensuring every employee feels valued and connected, Crestwood is broadening the range of organizations we work with to strengthen our Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) programs, including Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE) and veteran organizations such as Hiring Our Heroes.
We developed a D&I five-point plan which lays out where Crestwood will continue to enhance D&I inside and outside the organization. Our Chairman, President and CEO Bob Phillips has also taken the CEO Action Pledge for Diversity & Inclusion where he joins the largest CEO-driven business advancement of D&I within the workplace. This commitment will keep us focused on measured steps such as establishing a Chief Diversity Officer position and D&I committee to guide our progress articulated in the plan and actions. We know that today’s talent is more diverse than ever before and by providing an inclusive work environment we can continue to innovate, develop and retain talent. It is imperative that we challenge ourselves as we continue on our D&I journey.
More information on our approach to D&I can be found in our 2019 sustainability report.
